The rooms are comfortable with easy access to the lift, and the panoramic lounge on the 26th floor is a nice bonus. However, my non-smoking room smelled of cigarette smoke, prompting me to request a change. The thin walls with a door through to the next room also led to high noise levels.

The staff was professional and helpful overall, with some exceptions in answering us. However, they were very kind and considerate, even providing medicine when I had a cold. I particularly appreciated the night shift staff for making my check-in process easy.

The hotel's location didn't impress me as it was in a crowded neighborhood with little chance for an evening stroll. Despite not being in the best view with old buildings around, it could still be a suitable option for business travelers or those interested in Olaya Street or hotels in Tahlia Street.

The dining options were decent, offering different varieties of food. While the food quality was good, the variety was somewhat limited. On a positive note, the hotel's location made it convenient to visit Qasr al Masmak and the National Museum within walking distance.

The hotel facilities, including the restaurant on the mezzanine level, fitness center, and spa, added value to the stay. However, the persistent cigarette smell in my room was a drawback to enjoying the amenities fully.
